Most people that know me, know that Nepal as a country, the people of Nepal and the sights of Nepal lie close to my heart. I can honestly say that Nepal is one of my favourite countries I have visited and I will share some travel adventures and travel finds with you. With this being said, I have partnered with Tulja and the team of Né Nepal and I am making available in South Africa, a few of the most aesthetically everyday products which will take you on a journey through the Himalayas.
Né Nepal was inspired by the Himalayas where products are created that have a simple reflection of where it comes from. The products are made ethically and Né Nepal takes pride in improving the lives of others and maintaining a low impact on the environment.
Tulja and Ishu started Né Nepal in 2018 where they assist the craftsmen and women of Nepal by improving their products through modernising design and technology, ensuring that the crafts of Nepal stays relevant in modern times. By doing this, more jobs are created and products are more accessible to others.
I love that one of their values is to create good – “good, for people who give it life”. This resonated with me as I do believe one needs to do good and by doing good, you change the world one step at a time.
As Né Nepal states, their designs are “timeless, functional, and versatile are the core pillars of our design philosophy. But basic doesn’t mean boring, we design so you fall in love.” And how have I fallen in love with the brand, what they stand for and their products.
Quality is of most importance and Né Nepal products are completely handmade and all products are made from ethically sourced and sustainably made raw materials.
